wrote this today with lipstick on my school’s bathroom’s mirror

I usually wouldn’t post something like this, I wouldn’t say anything.
But as a 100% pro-choice person who has dealt with the effects of
abortion first hand, I am hurt by this image.

There is nothing about abortion to love.
Shock value works in some situations, but if I saw this in the
bathroom of my school I would be as shaken as if I saw a pro-life
demonstration on the lawn of my campus like I once have.
The right every should have women have to a safe and harassment
free abortions is unquestionably just that, A RIGHT.
Not an over the top statement to right in red lipstick on a bathroom mirror.
That right doesn’t change that fact that an abortion itself is a life
changing and often times very deep and personal experience that
can be hard to come out of the other side from.

I am surprised to see so many people reblogging this in a positive sense,
because honestly it is very trivializing and insensitive to quite a few women.
